I think you've been more than fair in your summary of Mark deMori's career. Now's the chance for anyone who feels he doesn't belong in this list to state their case...

To be fair to Joel the only reason he is fighting Powell is because a planned fight with Chris John fell through.

I think Kegsy has been pretty fair and objective in looking at 'padded' records based purely on stats.

Think as others have said stats don't always paint the total picture and 'padded' gives the impression that it has been a deliberate ploy when that is not always the case either.

If the fights Mark had been offered and said yes to had come off ( Rahman, Tua, Fury) it would look a different story on paper, but that's boxing.

Due to Marks inactivity while in the US he has definitely been over taken by Alex in regards to where their careers and fighting 'name fighters' is at. I haven't looked at the stats myself but I would guess if Alex's were looked at minus the last 1.5 years of fights it would probably look pretty similar to Marks.

And that is where Mark is at now, hopefully about the string 3 fights ( if May 30) can get made against 3 fighters with winning records hopefully putting Mark back into a DKP fight in the US which is where we wants to be.

May 30 will provide alot of answers for the 'lovers' and 'haters' if it happens.

Great read Kegsy. If you have some spare time would love to see Alex's stats after 20 fights to compare alongside Marks for pure interests sake.

Finally can't wait for 18 March Alex v Kingpin. Should be awesome

PS Marks March 17 will be online PPV for $10 through Ausboxing.

With a record like Daniel Dawson's I wonder why mandy's management haven't tried to nail him down for a title eliminator of some kind. They luv his record to promote thats for sure.
Great list Kegsy.......is it any wonder most of our fighters lose badly when they finally decide to step up.

Typical Leon defending these frauds in this thread with his pathetic padded records excuses. Give it a rest Leon for once. Pathetic.

Daniel Dawson is a disgraceful FRAUD who must have the most padded record in boxing today. Guy has a very impressive record ON PAPER 37-3-1 but has been beaten by the useless Frank Laporto. How the **** is that possible. Complete frauds.

    Wake up to yourself Leon.

I think he might have dropped Nathan Briggs in the 1st round before being stopped a few rounds later. The Haumono fight I don't know about other than that Solo stopped Wyborn early on.
