My mistake but it wasn't as close as the Australian media made out. No flogging but he handled Soliman easily as will Geale IMO.

wright said sam gave him one of his toughest ever fights.

considering wright just beat mosely twice, then trinidad in his previous 3 fights says it all imo.

It is ridiculous he hasn't fought for the IBF middleweight title over the course of all those years. Didn't he fight Raymond Joval in an eliminator bout and then he got screwed over when Taylor was the champ and had to fight Winky.

His loyalty to the IBF certainly hasn't been repaid. Lucky he got to fight Mundine for the WBA title, but that was at super middleweight.

He's certainly a worthy world title challenger and deserves a crack at the IBF middleweight title and he is certainly more deserving than some other previous challengers, at least on principle.

Ugly fight and was never ever going to be anything else.
Promoters were hopeing for a better rollup 1200 roughly.

IB can you give a rundown on Adama, is he a genuine threat ?

so is it Solimans team or sam & his team??

If they're all chasing the cabbage & getting a bit, great, thats all this sport deserves

I love seeing blokes buck the system & make heaps of money, Green, Mundine, brilliant, they've done a fantastic job, havent been overly hurt & made a mint :good

Osumanu Adama? He's trash. I guess if anyone has a suspect chin he's liable to check it, but otherwise he's quite useless.

    To Geale, no threat whatsoever.

Agree 100%..he should of gotten a shot sometime over the years, but then again he has never been mandatory and why would a champ choose to fight him?..awkward awkward fighter, high risk no reward IMO..If Geale beats Adama, sam most likely will finally get a shot??

Perfect lead in! LOL! Sam, understanably, wants to fight Geale as he wants the payday, not just the title. Sam was once a regular visiter to the grange camp to train with Geale, and get as much free **** as he could as he thought there was a dollar to be made there. But when that all stopped, the king disappeared, only to start bagging Geale and talking himself into a position to fight him. Sam is getting old, and more than his fitness would be needed to win this fight.
And no he cant win on a tackle count.

Sam's deserved a shot for a long time now, if you've seen his last 5 or 6 fights you'll know he's fighting better than ever. What else is there to do when ranked number 2 other than call out the champ? I hope someone just has the balls to give him a crack before too late. IBF should be pushing harder to make it happen, surely it'd make more cash than Adama.
