not one thread on the page when i looked on here mentions magee. the guy deserves a lot more publicity than he's getting. top win on foreign soil, and not the first time either. deserves another big name and a good pay day after fighting in costa rica n denmark. top body shot that should be shown more than two tits wrestling, talking shite in to a mic and picking up weapons like the wwe

I meant to start a thread about this yesterday but forgot. Great win by Magee, lost a bit in the weekends fun and games in Germany and, to a lesser extent, Texas.

Magee was looking sharp, he looked like he almost didnt believe the bodyshot would end the fight!...fair play to him, hope he gets another title shot!

Magee is the kind of guy you take as a test before a title challenge.
Kenny Anderson is the guy you take as a easier home fight, stay busy fight.

Markussen was soft to the body, that body-punch was good, did damage but any good top 10 fighter in the SMW division would've continued. For example Magee and Zuniga has raised themselves up from much more damaging body-shots.

He is sort of the forgotten man at SMW in British boxing. Im glad he is racking up the wins. With the IBF title shot and a few other fights abroad I think he must be getting some decent paydays which is nice to hear in what some would probably have considered the twilight of his career well done to him.

Very strange career, plenty of ups and downs but nice to see him getting somewhere. He put up a better showing against Bute then Johnson did IMO.

He fought Rudy Markussen for the WBA Iterim belt I believe.
He won it and it is WBA's next mandatory for Ward according to Sauerland.
