    is it?

  2. If you take out ''fights involving Pacquiao or Mayweather'' it's up there.

Haye never should have retired. He has the years and the health to have had a longer career. He obviously still likes the limelight so just glove up and ****ing fight already!

It even made the Hong Kong news today. There has never been an even semi-decent card in Hong Kong.

That's how big the news is.

The reach and influence of the BBBofC extends overseas but you just have to think back to Gary Mason's brief campaign in the US following his license suspension due to his detached retina.

According to an article in the Independent today:

"Bunce on Boxing: Police came knocking at 4am hunting for Haye

The British Boxing Board of Control will convene a meeting to discuss his role in what happened at the post-fight press conference. It has to be said that fighters who use their fists often receive hefty or even life-time bans and the severity of the shocking scenes that played out during about 20 seconds of violence is likely to end with equally severe reprimands. The fact that so much of the incident is available online will not help either Chisora or Haye avoid censure but hopefully sense will prevail.

It is understood that Haye, who lost his world heavyweight title to Vitali's younger brother, Wladimir, last year does not currently hold a licence from the British governing body. However, if he decided to end his retirement he would under no circumstance fare any better than the volatile Chisora and would not be able to get a licence anywhere else in the world

If Haye does fight again it's just got to be Chisora. The pre-fight publicity is all done. A promoter's dream :good

Fwank must be rubbing his hands with glee. I ****ing would. I saw tons of people this morning reading about it on the train. Its in the News in every paper. Boxing is part of society. Its going nowhere. When there's a scrap people want to know about it. Bad publicity or not this is the fight game and it goes with the territory. For that i'm glad! Go Boxing!! :happy

They could fight as an eliminator for the right to fight John McDermott for the Southern Area Heavyweight title. Bernd Boente did mention Haye's lack of belts as a negotiating flaw.
