Couldn't agree with this comment more. Would anyone want to associate their brand with chisora?

these shenanigans are all good for British Boxing. Why? well, people all over the world are talking about the "brawl" and many are hoping a Chisora vs Haye fight gets made. For me though, There is a massive problem when the out of the ring stuff is talked about more than the actual sport but that's the press and media's fault for spreading controversy.

Solutions: Get more security heavies at press conferences and weigh-ins. maybe have an exclusive guest list that only allows only the media, press, promoters & fighters to attend! And, if your names not on the list and you're not registered to be there - you don't get in! - if nightclubs and venues can have this policy why not press conferences and weigh-ins too.

David Haye had no business being there (according to Frank ****** & the Klitschko's) and from the footage it looks like Haye purposely gatecrashed Chisora's press conference to instigate some form of trouble/banter and try get himself a Klitschko fight but things got out of hand.

Chisora obviously then feels the spotlight is taken away from him so in my opinion rightly challenges Haye for heckling him and causing bother on Chisora's "Me Time".

My question is Where were the promoters & managers holding Chisora back and preventing him from leaving the stage to confront Haye?

What happened after he left the stage is wrong on so many levels (and these are levels that are way above the fighters) it seems there's no control or procedures in place to prevent these incidents from happening! I also never knew alcohol was available at press conferences - where did Haye get the bottle from?

but overall the sport has had more media & press coverage than ever before therefore as they say any form of publicity is good publicity!

All those media guys who are saying it is SOOO disgraceful all jumped in there with their cameras to try and take pictures of this disgusting and appalling brawl, that will make children want to glass each other and physically shoot and burn each other.

If the media really thought it was that disgusting, they could have written a brief footnote about some trouble that occurred post fight, but left the pictures and the video footage out. The media are proving the point that controversy sells more than accomplishment. Look at the press Haye Harrison got, and compare it to the press he got for fighting former 3 time world champion Shot John Ruiz. People can have their moral stance, but please don't pretend that this sports moral conscience is bigger than it's business one.

The point is, it doesn't matter if you like it or not, Chisora has put himself on the map, and is almost as well known around the world as the Klitchsko's who have spent the best part of 10 years ruling over the Heavyweight division. REAL boxing fans know the game goes deeper than two thugs having a brawl, and if it draws in casual fans, in time they too will learn that boxing has a lot more to offer than that. Do people think all golfers are sex maniacs because of Tiger Woods ?

When everyone stands to get paid they soon forget about romantic notions like that. Remember when Showtime and HBO came together to make LL and Tyson? Trust me when there's BIG money to be made all of that **** is forgotten about. MAKE THE FIGHT HAPPEN!! PPV at West Ham stadium!!

No big deal really. It's a massive talking point and no one got seriously hurt. Job done!

My only fear is it might get really severe and dangerous from here.

they are both a discrace, chisora should be banned forever,he is nothing but a thug and his behaviour with the klichkos was shocking, ban him for life. and as for the ***** with the sore toe he should be ashamed to go into a ring again after his last cowardly disply.
ban them both forever they wont be missed

Its funny how the sport and what it brings are all forgotten so quickly, its not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it's embarrassing for themselves and for British boxing.

The sport itself is about discipline and respect which Chisora and Haye have very little of.

Two words which many people have forgotten. It's ironic that the language some of boxing's supporters now use has been used for years by those who call for it to be abolished.

So true. Boxing far less attractive than MMA to sponsors now.

Most of those incidents received a fair bit of negative press too.

Probably going to be good news for Chisora and Haye's respective bank balances if they end up fighting now.
