Is Adrien Broner the next Floyd mayweather?

    He uses a lot of mayweather's style when he fights. He is also managed by Al Haymon and GBP.

    He appears to be somewhat charismatic in and out of the ring. (The hair combing thing is pretty funny)

    At the age of 22 he has already won a belt at 130 lbs, the same weight floyd won his first championship at.

    How far can he go? Is he a future ppv star?

    he stole the hair combing act from pernell whitaker - there was a fight or two where pernell would comb his hair right after the fight.. and now he is trying to copy floyd mayweather's s style.

    He's an extremely poor man's Floyd Mayweather.

    Go back and watch Floyd at 22 when he won his first title.

    Broner's name doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence.

    Acting like a juvenile moron does not equate to having charisma.Same goes for Mayweather in that sense,too.


    And Broner is all flash and little substance.His limitations were exposed against Ponce De Leon.





    Ali used to do the same thing after his fights,particularly when he was getting ready for an interview,so it's hardly originated in recent times.

    Haven't seen the fight. Don't really know to much about him.

    I'm currently watching box nation and it showed broner v rodriquez fight on the alvarez v cintron card.

    What I notice was floyd was sitting right next to Al haymon watching Broner up close. Broner won by knockout.

    I'll check out the Deleon fight.

    My question was more in terms of potential achievements in the sport. For example becoming a multiple weight champion as well as a big ppv star. There is only one floyd mayweather, but considering he with al haymon, and Broner has the build to go up in weight, could we see similar weight class success with this kid?

    I think that there is a possibility that he has a glass jaw and if he does I don't think going to far up in weight is a good idea.

    Plus, he sucks at trash talking compared to Floyd so he'll never be the same kind of draw.
