Did Wlad lose any respect from his fans saturday night?

I must admit I was shocked to see Wlad take a stream of spit to the face saturday night before his brothers fight. I was never a fan of Wlad's, but I do respect him for the heavyweight champion he is. That being said, to see Wlad get humiliated like that in Germany infront of thousands of fans and millions of people watching at home. Definitely makes me question Wlad's toughness a bit. Even if he would of blasted Chisora in the face after getting spit on, and say the fight got called off. Who would really blame him for reacting? I for one wouldn't, if anything I would respect him more for standing up for himself.

I feel Haye gained more respect from even his biggest haters, for the way he stood up and reacted like a man to Chisora's bullying. I feel Wlad on the other hand looked less of a man to me, licking Chisora's spit off his face.

I thought he was weak as ****.
Anyone spat in my face I would beat the **** out of them.
Imagine what Tyson would have done if he did it to him.

    It's called self control.

Of course Wladimir wanted to do something...but he knew the consequences of that (his brother's fight being called off, loss of millions, etc...) so he held back, exercising self control.

All of you people saying "I would have punched Chisora", etc... REALLY? You would have? You would have ruined your brothers fight and caused your brother to lose millions, and face a possible suit against yourself for millions?

Well, if so, you're an idiot.

He should have at least pushed Chisora away, i mean you should be cool if someone is trying to provoke you but there is a fine line and after someone spits at you, you should at least push him away not lick yourself.

    :patsch

You can't even come with up with a valid counter argument to what I said..instead you resort to, of all things, making a joke about my location.

    That's both  and :-(

He handled it like a man and a professional.

Why would he punch his lights out and risk getting his brother DQ'd?, he just cleared the way for his brother to take care of business as he prepared to do. Wladimir is not a street fighter to let such nonsense make him snap.

To all you UFC or street fighting fans, boxing teaches patience, a reckless individual would NOT be a successful boxer.

when someone spits on my face like that i'll make sure he pays bigtime, even if it means knocking out the people who will try to stop me.

:patsch Is this a joke? Chisora spits in Wlad's face and people are acting like they have more respect for him, and less respoect for Wladimir for not getting baited into ruining the actual boxing match that was supposed to take place, that Derek seemed to want out of with his antics? GTFOWTS. Chisora tried to sabotage his fight with both brothers, more than once. Breaking the contract with Wladimir by discussing it publicly, the slap, the spitting. Why try and win a boxing match you can't win instead of a streetfight you might win? What a joke he is and the reaction to him.
