Not at all - how many of these folk are paid, professional boxing writers? Two as far as I know. Bunce and The Uppercut. There are a few solid bloggers (Slapbang...) who are building a quality site, but most are rank amateurs. Nothing wrong with that, I'm one of those too (although at least am a professional writer, if not about boxing).
Precisely. You don't know who anyone is. To be honest I read it wrong, as experience in boxing rather than journalism. I've been offered compensation in return for writing about boxing, that counts (not monetary).
