Then ignore them. I judge people on what they say, not what they claim to have done.

The only poster on here with any actual experience is Bunce, and people act like hysterical girls where he's involved.

Two as far as I know. Bunce and The Uppercut. There are a few solid bloggers (Slapbang...) who are building a quality site, but most are rank amateurs.

Nothing wrong with that, I'm one of those too (although at least am a professional writer, if not about boxing).

To be honest I read it wrong, as experience in boxing rather than journalism.

I've been offered compensation in return for writing about boxing, that counts (not monetary).

I did get offered some paid work - but it sounded **** and I make more doing 100-word film reviews/

Also, not sure Uppercut gets paid. very good writer tho

 

Some of those who claim to be struggle to put a sentence together coherently. It's easy to spot.
