Margarito's wraps after Cotto first fight!

He cheated. Very very likely more than once.

 

in cotto-marg 2, marg managed to be on track in doing the same damage on cotto considering cotto was moving a lot more and getting hit less.

 

You usually dont get caught on your first time. I didnt personally see the fight against lujan i believe (the guy whose ear he chopped off) but thats pretty suspicious. Not to mention how he was disposing of opponents before that, cintron comes to mind, and after the first cotto fight, lacked the power to finish the job. With this said, all we can do is speculate, its a thing of the past and the only person who knows the answer is margarito and capetillo.

 

Its a ongoin topic that will always be debated to no end...only ppl who wuld b able to answer it for certain wuld b the trainer and MAYBE Margo.

For myself, I believe his wraps were loaded for Cotto 1. Simply because Cotto had taken punches for guys known to punch hard and never had his face swollen up like that. He seemingly bled outer orifices that 1 shouldn't bleed and also seemed to slow significantly after the 6th.

With that being said, I have to say that Margo was in sheer beast mode that night and I don't think any1 woulda stopped him then (huge credit to his jaw).

unless marg eventually does a resto if it's true that he cheated. but there's no reason he should anyway so we are all bound to speculations.

 

How can you tell? When Margarito was caught cheating prior to the Mosley fight, there was a plaster smeared insert(pad) concealed inside of his handwraps, which wouldn't be visible from the outside.

 

I feel like the video you provided is 100% proof that Margarito was clean. His wraps look like warm soft cotton

 

I think he unknowingly cheated for Cotto. Come on on man, he aint dumb enough to parade around celebrating showing the world his loaded hand wraps.

He probably discovered the full extent of his hand wraps when he dumped his trainer and it all came out during a massive row.

 

evidence of his work afterwards would show he cheated. especially after hitting cotto and cotto not relenting. He def cheated to me. He should be banned. but he is a broken fighter now who is barely above being a gatekeeper.

 

I think his gloves were loaded
