I am not sure if I am fan of this borderline homosexual attitude towards somebody you're supposed to be fighting soon. Nothing gets a fight hyped and the fans involved like a bit of trash talk. Maybe I am just a douche? Perhaps.

I like Bradley as a person, but this fight is a complete non-threat for Pacquiao in every way and this just proves it further.

I honestly don't see how a fighter can go into a match and be all buddy-buddy with his opponent. Its like "WAKE-UP", this fool is gonna try to knock your damn head off in a few months. What the hell is there to be happy about?

It's a sport, not an assasination.

Where does it say you have to act like a neanderthal in a combat sport?

    :huh

I believe his point was that its just odd to see somebody act so friendly when they are going to fight. They don't have to act like animals, but seeing this sort of friendliness doesn't get anybody pumped for the event.

Bradley remember when Margarito called Pacquiao a puto and Pacquiao broked his face...that's even with Pacquiao holding back. Bardley wants none of that.

It all comes down to self-confidence. We'll use Floyd as an example. Ortiz was already known to be a quitter on top of being young and having never fought on the big stage. Yet Floyd went out of his way to dig up info about Ortiz's past as well as made attempts to invite Robert Garcia and Victor's dad to the fight. All in an attempt to break Ortiz down before the fight. Some fighters just need every edge possible.

It all depends on the person really. Some people can have a beer and invite to dinner the man that they are about to have a fight with. But I fall under that other group that believes the opposite. No way I can strike up a friendship with him. It wouldn't be a good idea to even have me in the same room as him.

nothing matters until you get in the ring...but it simply looks bad as in "im just happy to be here, i will do my best" rather than " this dude is in trouble and i'm not here to smile"

Viloria and Segura stayed at the same hotel and had dinner together leading up to the fight. On fight night, Viloria beat the **** out of him.
