elroy has 20 something fights with 7 kos, his low ko ratio makes me wonder if he has any pop in his punches. i just watch his full fight on youtube and he is a swamer / boxer i think broner will beat him inside the distance.
Wasn't sure if you implied "Jacobs'ed" on the short, or long term. Couple of folks at 135 should be able to take care of business - just don't know when Broner will pull a Gamboa and move up.
Very solid post. Broner still has time and I'm glad he's fighting anyone he can. Bit annoyed the fight isn't on youtube yet , but that may have been the fight he needed to turn his career around for the better. He gained experience and will learn from what he did wrong which will only make him better. People will always complain that guys are padding their records I agree. People say Vargas was brought up too fast, I disagree. The guy had balls and was a good talent who had credible wins(Quartey, Wright) early in his career. He would not have known how his talents stood against those challenges if he padded his record which is what these so-called champions that pad their records need to learn.
If by "Next Mayweather" you mean the next black, cocky, flashy fighter that YOU and the other usual idiots (you know who I am talking about) will dick suck, then yes. You and you ******ed ilk be tighter to his dick then a condom. If you mean in terms of accomplishments, doubtful. He has youth and talent going for him right now. And he's much more brash then Floyd was at that point as well. We'll see if he backs it up, or get's the Berto treatement for a while. Hope not. Looking forward to seeing him and Russell Jr grow as pros.
It depends. Skillwise he might turn out to be, but until he gets tested we wont know. He needs to beat Gary Russell.
Only guy with a chance to become next Mayweather is Gary Russel jr. He is insanely fast, but he might run out of Mexican cabbies to beat up soon, and actually have to fight somebody. Probably not though, thanks to Haymon.
Gary Russel jr is more talented but lacks the size to compete in the higher weight classes. Broner is skilled but not as "gifted" as he would lead you to believe. His train will be stopped soon unless he keeps being carefully matched. He would do well staying away from Rios.
Floyd Mayweather wouldn't have lost a single round to De Leon, never mind a fight with him, like Broner did.
No. He tries to look like Mayweather but his defense isn't as disciplined; his punches are not as accurate and tend to be wild at times. I would pick Rios to stop him at 135. I like the hair brushing routine, though. He should get Morris Day to let him borrow Jerome and do the whole bit with the mirror. This content is protected
