Besides his deadly weapon ( left uppercut ) , Lucian Bute has an efficient right hook . If Bute will work more at his right hand power/solidity , I think he could give a lot of troubles to his next opponents with his right hand hook ! :yep Now, that punch isn't too crisp/solid , is more like a "checking punch" imo. Thoughts ??!!

Johnson refused to allow Bute to get his L hand off cleanly. He was being opverly defensive keeping that R arm tucked. So mcuh, that when Bute did fire the L, he hit GJs elbow moreso than his body or head. I can't beleive he didn't damage GJs elbow with the constant hard Ls he was taking on it. So, Bute naturally found a home for the R hook vs Johnson. I think Lucian surprised himself with the effect it was having on Johnson. Needless to say, the use of that punch in combination with the L hooker/cut will most definitely be in effect against the other orthodox opponents from here on out. He's a master technician as it is, but being able to let R hand be hooking as a jab will only raise his KO% and his dominance over orthodox fighters.:deal
Many people expect that Bute will abuse of his left uppercut against Froch because Froch is an open fighter but I think Bute will dominate him ( Froch ) with his right hook ! I hope he will improve the power !

There's a reason why Johnson was very disciplined in keeping his right arm tucked in. Don't know if we should expect Froch to do the same (as in, would Froch change his fightstyle a bit just because of Bute's left uppercut to the body?).......
