    Excellent rankings MetalMandible :deal..
    Glass jawed jokes excist in boxing, but iron chinned warriors who symbolizes everything that is right about punch resistance excists too :deal..
    I will add a little note though: Vitali has a strong mandible, it is an irrefutable fact, but his heart is fragile, this was proven when he quitted against MW Chris Byrd :yep:rofl

    Don't forget Chisora's trainer Don Charles. He took Haye's bareknuckle punches and wasn't even knocked down (same punches that have KO'd Mormeck, Ruiz, Barret and Fraudley)

    probably true, but we can't just bash on the china chinned frauds all day, we also need to appreciate the Iron chinned warriors :deal

    Yes, he is a mentally fragile quitter. I am no fan of him or his brother but he does have an Iron Chin and I will not deny him that credit.

    Well, after several blockbuster Glass Jaw threads in the past few weeks I have decided to change it up a bit and give credit where it is due, to the Granite Jawed Heroes of Boxing.

    I struggled with including him on the list but Ortiz, for his Glass Jaw and Glass Heart, can actually crack and he is the only one to have done this sort of thing to Maidana. The sad fact of the matter is that there aren't many true Iron Chinned Warriors fighting right now. Boxing is, in my opinion, in a bit of a talent slump.

    It will be coming soon.:good

    Come on now. Toney has a shout for one of the best chins in boxing history. He took a beating in his last fight and still did not go down.

    I agree with the guy above... Maidana got dropped too many times by Ortiz to be on the list. Why not Chisora instead?

    Plus it is highly probable Maidana has a disgraceful glass body and I think having a glass defect in any other area should remove some of the sheen from an iron chin. That may be a controversial viewpoint but I stand by it.

    This brings me to Vitali. Without question the man has a glass shoulder and possible glass skin. For that reason alone, I would knock him down a couple of places on the list.
