Basically they offered Froch to come to Montreal, and Hearn hasn't put up a formal offer. Ward-Bute is also back in the works as discussions are ongoing.

Interbox did their job. 2 offers. None back.

If Bute fights another clubfighter, there cannot be a legitimate excuse. We all know that the Bute-stans will buy anything interbox says, but the rest of the industry will shake their heads in disgust. It will be a public relations disaster.

When they announce their next bum, I'd have told them so for the last couple of years, he's nothing but a protected fighter, fighting C-level fighers, that's all there is too it, really.

 

Interbox absolutely need to make public the offers they've made to Ward and Froch if these talks fall through. :deal

However, until today, they've been whiter than white, and have been negotiating like gentlemen, ...until today.

If Froch doesn't make Bute an offer because he'd rather fight Anthony Dirrell route, Interbox need to flush him out.

No more Mr Nice Guy. Bute and Interbox have been ducked enough. Time to flush the duckers out with facts, figures and strong PR.

Ward and Froch need to be shown to have no legitimate excuse for ducking Bute.:deal

The only valid comparison between the two is that both are stay at home fighters. Other than that, Bute cannot carry the jockstrap of the mighty Sven.

 

Bute's team has always made it sound like he wants to fight the best, but they always make a fight against a fringe contender at home.

With Ward's team, it's an ideological issue: they want him to fight a contender and earn a shot. The Froch fight should happen, but Showtime is shooting it down for unknown/unintelligent reasons.

Look for Bute vs. a non-threat in Montreal in May.

 

I Can pretty much guarantee you, that interbox wont reveal a thing.

 

Team Bute has a track record of making excusses for not landing fights. I have no doubt that this will continue with the Froch-affair.
Frochs manager has several times stated that they worked on landing a Bute fight in Nottingham, and Froch has a history of taking on everyone. So if this fight dont goes through, I have no doubt where to put the blame. But I am sure you are buying everything that the Interbox propaganda machine comes up with.

You must ask yourself: Why is it that Bute cant land the big fights against fighters who was proven themselves throughout the years against the best in the world.

A: Bute is the most avoided man in the world (I believe in everything coming from Team Bute)

B: Something fishy is going on, maybe Interbox is to blame

Nope. This just won't do to Bute fans. It just won't do to Bute either.

If Bute cannot get to fight Ward, Froch or Kessler next, it's because all three are ducking him. I would expect boxing fans to be scandalised by this and put pressure on these tree to fight Bute, rather than lesser fighters.

Interbox and Bute need to make it clear with evidence that Ward, Froch and Kessler are ducking.

All on the contrary, I think this is a very unwise joke. It offers both Ward and Froch a potential reason to break any further negotiations. I don't know what game is Mr. Bédard playing, but he sadly missed the opportunity to avoid publicizing his wannabe joke.

 

funny you mention that..cause it is also true for Kessler.In fact this statement is true for basically everyone fighting at smw now,they all have weeker records when compared with Sven.The only one who came closer to Ottke is Ward,cause him too doesn't own a passport.
