So you are saying it would be impossible that neither Froch or Ward or Direll wants to fight him? If Bute can't get a big name, thats his (or Interbox) fault for sure? :think Explain.
It's not only that WBC has: SUPERMIDDLEWEIGHT.- (168-76.204) CHAMPION: ANDRE WARD (US) WON TITLE: December 17, 2011 LAST DEFENCE: LAST COMPULSORY: November 27, 2010 1.Anthony Dirrell (US) 2.Carl Froch (GB) They may strip Ward and make Anthony Dirrell - Carl Froch for a vacant title. I may have been right about Ward not dropping the belt but i haven't thugh about WBC stripping Ward.
If you watched the fight, you know that isn't the case. Froch landed hardly any clean shots. Ward was injured going into the fight and dispensed Froch, with ease.
you are an idiot dumb ****.explain please then how Ward earned his belt fight with Kessler you ****ing clown.By beating Miranda?????
Guess you don't watch fights, and don't keep up with the news. The fight was barely 2 months ago and Ward is cleared(with conditions) for training.
Ward agreed to participate in a tournament featuring the highest ranked super middleweights in the world. Two or three losses in that tournament would have effectively killed his career before it got legs. It was a risk much larger than any Bute has taken. Does Bute deserve a shot for beating the same Miranda and a 40 year old Johnson?
If I'm Bute's team, I call out Showtime for blocking that fight. As a fan, I think that would have been the linchpin for putting a great year or two of fights in motion. FYI, Ward is the champ in the real sense. Bute is champ in the JCC Jr., Sven Ottke, sense.
I don't know if this approach would be a good choice at this point. Let's accept that Interbox effectively made those two offers and they're waiting for an answer. If they think they're waiting too much, the first rational move should be to send a reminder of the offer to Ward/Froch promoters asking for a firm answer or a counter-offer in a reasonable amount of time, not to publicly ask "WTF..."; that is: you don't ask journalists or on twitter about confidential negotiations fate. By the same token, they shouldn't make public any confidential offer which has not been formally refuted and has not been followed by a counter-offer (so they could state firmly that negotiations have failed). Better follow further developments.
Would you like to review the rankings at the time the tournament started? Kessler was the undisputed #1, Froch was #2, AA hadn't earned it, but he was in the top 5. At no point in his career has Bute faced an opponent ranked as high. In hindsight, AA's rating was garbage. But at the time the contract was signed, Ward was seen as an underdog taking a big risk.
