Pac: "I thought he was small and that i would have no problems. it was a mistake. i should have not underestimated him" ariza said pac will go back to his old training of fighting, speed and power like before, and that he wont underestimate bradley like he did jmm
I dont believe that, after 2 times getting hell from jmm he knew it wouldnt have been easy, I would buy that from any other guy at 147 except for him. Marquez just did much better than everyone thought and proved that no matter what weight they fight at it would always be close, pac can train like hell next time and it would still be the same. Marquez is just a great boxer who has his number stylistically.
So, he underestimated him... three times? Or is it because JMM has his number, plain and simple? I'll go with the latter... bye.
Freddie Roach talks Pacquiao, Marquez, Khan, Chavez Jr October 22nd, 2011 Brad Cooney 8CN sat down with Freddie Roach and got a good Pacquiao training camp update. Roach tells 8CN that this may be the best Pacquiao camp ever. Pacquiao is in the second leg of camp at Wild Card Gym in Hollywood. Amir is in camp getting ready for his fight Vs. Lamont Peterson. Roach says that Peterson is a very worthy opponent and they are not looking over him. Freddie also talks about Julio Cesar Chavez Vs. Peter Manfredo Jr. Check out the rest of what Freddie Roach had to say in this exclusive 8CN interview. :dead:dead:dead:dead:dead
how do u underestimate a fighter in all 12 rounds? after the 2nd round he shoulda known that Marquez meant business. whatever helps him sleep at night i guesss
No, he underestimated him and had leg cramps this time. The 2nd fight he had bad socks. I forget the first fight but it was needles or something.
His last good performance was against Margarito when they were claiming a poor camp. Both camps for Mosley and Marquez were claimed to be two of his best ever. I think for the Marquez camp he did more sparring and boxing type of training but none of the Ariza workouts.
Ironic really if Pac (not Roach) underestimated Marquez due to his size. Pacquiao has had a number of opponents underestimating him due to size recently.
Needles? That was the first Morales fight. The first JMM fight he just knocked JMM down three times and then had other things on his mind, like... the karaoke night he had planned, and took his eye off the ball. If he focuses, JMM is knocked out cold.
