Well they are fighting for the VACANT title, Toney isn't defending the title.

They should make this Bareknuckle, Gunn would have a chance. (He's the bareknuckle champion of the world...)

Don't be surprised to see Gunn win this. Toney is nothing more than an average journeyman with a name at this point.

He always spoke like that. How he talks now is no different to how he talked in 1994. He's always had that drawl.

 

Toney always had that drawl, but it clearly got worse these last years. Anyone could perfectly understand Toney back in 1994, these days it's different. He's seriously slurring his speech

Yeah, Toney was injured in his last fight against Lebedev, and that's why he looked that bad. That's perfectly true.

BUT: it proves that Toneys body can't take it no more, all these years, all these many fights, from MW up to HW, this looong career from 1988 until now... Toney needs to finally retire before he gets injured any worse. He's an ATG and has got nothing left to prove.

Now, since he won't retire anyways, fighting journeymen like Bobby Gunn is the way to go. I think Toney can still beat guys at that level. I don't think Toney should get a title-fight anytime soon, he's done at the top level. Unless he proves me wrong and looks sensational beating 4-5 journeymen, which I doubt. BTW, Toney looks fat in that vid
