On forums all over David haye threads have replaced mayweather/pacquiao threads, he's made news channels globally and dominated the press.

He saved the division in as much we now have a heavyweight fight worth watching. Dont think itll happen though as the BBBofC are going to ban them.

No. Most people will forget about it in a few days. What the HW division needs is an explosive, aggressive fighter. Haye could have been that man but he hasn't been able to bring his cruiser game to the heavy division.

Has Haye saved it from WHAT?

    Respect?

The last bits of credibility it had left?

Serious threads on the various boxing forums?

    Truly competitive fights?

    Yes to all.

    - but all the 12 year olds here on ESB (and there seems to be an incredibly large amount of them) think he's a G, so I guess it's all good.

The HW division will first be saved when:

The contenders shows up in shape, and not with their bellys hanging over their trunks

When the top contenders aren't glass jawed Cruiserweights or novices

When the HW champ isn't a glass jawed fighter who is terrified of actually fighting his opponents :rofl

Oh no how will British boxing survive without wonderful PPV?! No longer will we be able to £15 for fights. Now we'll have to get them for free :|:|:|
