Sorry,I also forgot to mention that it's likely that Sky will be unable to be the primary broadcasters because the house fighter(Froch) is not the biggest earner (by far) nor is he the belt holder. They've been feeling the pinch the last couple years and I'm guessing no Showtime is giving them a big headache.I think for a fight when you have two big earners they would need US TV at least in the current climate.
I'd love them to prove me wrong on this though.

even more, people from Sky are not imbeciles like many around here and know Froch will probably loose bad this one...so why pay a load of cash to Bute to embaress another brit when they can do that themselves...all they need to do is go to Munchen.

in green on top. in one way u say u havent heard from froch's camp. then u havent heard as well from bute camp, forget about what bute nutthuggers have to say. and i never said bute made him a perfect offer, no proof no links with that information. and i sertanly never said he was a coward. what i am trying to understand is what is the mindset of a boxer who accuses some one of hiding from them and when the time comes to getting offer made that suits both fighter (we as of now not know this for fact) not go thrue with it. when and if we do find out the numbers put on the table may it be from one or the other and it seams fare to both fighters...i want to know how do we catagories this said fighter? no trying to bash on any fighter just curious as to use proper therms to not offend anybody?

Cool man, thanks. So Ward reenters the picture with Bute. Interesting. May have been that the hand had them spooked. Either way, I hope the meeting with Showtime bears fruit.

If there is one opportunity for Showtime to put together a superfight, there it is. At Madison Square Garden please. :smoke

It's cool Sabs.I know where you stand on this.:good
I shouldn't have said your argument was simplistic,it wasn't meant in a derogatory way and a better description would have been idealistic. It sounds great in theory but unfortunately you have the rather significant obstacles of;ego, purses, promoters and countless other roadblocks.
All I'm saying is don't believe EVERYTHING that you read or hear from the Bute camp or about Bute from other fighters/camps.
The best PR firms are the ones that can lie best.:deal

Unfortunately you are also a magnificent weapon FOR the Bute troll-haters.Not that they really exist.
Why can't you accept that not everyone who doesn't say wonderful things about Bute is a "troll-hater?"
I rate him quite highly.I just find a minority of his fans are completely detached from reality.
If he gets past the first round against Froch,he might actually make it a close fight.:think
Silly me:patsch Anyone who knows boxing knows Froch will stop him in the first round or quicker.Just got a bit dizzy there.
Doesn't make him a bad fighter though. It's just that I'm predicting big things in the future for young Carl Froch.

The ideal for Bute would be to make a deal with Ward for the end of the summer. That would be a one fight extension of his contract. I think Showtime could agree to air Bute-Froch if they are sure to air Bute-Ward. Ward also has one fight on his contract and Showtime may have played the same game with him they did with Bute (we won't air your fight if it's not Bute or if you don't sign an extension of your contract). It could explain why Ward has suddenly changed his mind about facing Bute. If I were Ward's coach though, I'd prefer to make a fight with another southpaw before facing Bute.
