Who took the most punishment: Ali, Foreman or Frazier?

As for who's word should be taken more seriously,it is irrelevant. Close fights divide opinion,as the line between victory and defeat is very slim.

Some may agree with you in the view that Ali and Frazier were beaten in the fights mentioned. I,however,feel they won them,albeit very closely.

 

D subject was supposed 2b punishment inflicted though , and Ali took punishment from Doug Jones during their fight , especially during d 1st rds , Bokaj/daddy simply didn't let u c it , but youtube can .

 

What's with all the sarcasm about Bokaj and myself,just because we're both Ali fans ? Do I call you 'Alexvoce's poll smoker' because you're both anti Ali ?

 

U both have a really strong bias , stronger even than others' it looks suspicious . U gave your own excuse 2 y u posted **** in this thread , because u simply didn't watch them fights from start 2 end , and i asked twice already and now a 3rd time , y do u argue on fights u didn't c ?

The person whom I knew,who was at the garden when the young Cassius Clay fought Doug Jones was an old workmate. He was a very knowledgable boxing man who was very critical of Ali as a fighter and person,so there is no use screaming 'BIAS' in this case. He scored the fight six rounds to four in Ali's favour.

 

1 - Old Ali

2 - Old Foreman

3 - Frazier

4 - Prime Foreman

5 - Prime Ali

My opinion still stands. Cassius Clay beat Doug Jones,albeit closely.

 

Remember d thread's topic , it was about taking punishment , and that was what my initial reply about

 

It was hardly HEAVY punishment though,was it ? Look at Ali's face at the end. Virtually unmarked.

 

Only HEAVY enough so only d ropes stood in Cautious Clay's way down :good

 

I doubt whether Ali was in any real danger of being stopped. Jones was his toughest opponent up to that point though.

 

This was not my claim at any point of time so far , but it was a 10-8 rd 4 Jones , remember d rules , if only d ropes keep a fighter up then it counts as a KD
