Now-now. This thread is about Bute's right hook, not about his alleged chin fragility, so you're way OT here. You started a dedicated thread in which you have yet to answer the points I've made. You have chosen not to do so and to repeat yourself over and over, despite my invitation to get real and discuss (since you claim you're not trolling).
After your last posts, do you still maintain your claim or you admit your trolling ultimate aim? If you keep stating you're not trolling, would you be so kind and behave accordingly?! Thank you.

Mark, you're taking this very personally. Sometimes is good to remember that 95% of the posters here are not serious and/or not worth debating with. The wise thing is to spend time with the 5% who are serious, smart and/or funny.:good

The percentage is decreasing every day, unfortunately. It is becoming harder and harder to debate about boxing on ESB. The worst for me is when I see trolls who know their boxing. They may have fun toying with fans but at the same time they are destroying the forum.

I still can't help myself from laughing when I think I was banned for trolling. The break gave me some distance though and I don't want to get involved in sterile discussions anymore.

For whatever its worth, I think Laffie is the most honest and genuine Bute fan on these boards.

I feel bad for the fact that he's unlikely to ever see Bute step up his level of competition.

Nothing personal, it's just I feel uneasy with someone claiming he's not trolling and acting just as a dedicated troll. It would be more honest & fair to establish some mutual agreement between behavior and declarations.

I hope you're wrong... (not about me ;), about the fact I'll never see my favourite boxer face the best. It would be really sad, and not just for myself).

laffie, you and the other Canadian fans are what's good about the Bute support here on ESB...:good

I think you're better off now that you don't feel you have to react to everything anymore - as I have to tell myself all the time, the point of this forum is to learn and have fun. Certainly not to get angry at trolls all day.:good I think Maxime's learned his lesson. He's not posting much anymore... but perhaps he is happier? I hope so. Just a shame that the new Romanian Bute fans are falling in every trap. And I should certainly know better too, haha! :)

In short its an effective punch against most of his opponents and a tool for Bute to circle to his right when he's throwing the punch, its not a particularly devastating punch, if at all.

It is however, very important in Bute making space for himself and sometimes setting up his lefts and left uppercuts.

I'd rate it as more of a tool to make space and to make people wary of his right hand, rather than a knockout punch, which it so obviously is not imo. For what its worth I rank it ahead of Kesslers left hook, which is pretty horrible.

Nope, he's left handed; he fought orthodox when he started boxing.
In an interview Bute recalled how his second coach noticed during a dinner his native left handedness and asked him to try for a while fighting in a southpaw stance

    Wow !!

I think exactly the same. it's more a tool for him. The only time when he has hurt somebody with that shot is his fight against Berrrio in 2007.

He stunt Berrio with a short right hand a finish the job with 3 huge left hand.

Bute has improved that shot thought over the years.

Mr. Magic i really like your input when you talking about boxing sir
