    GREAT post!:good

Although it's gonna Salamov MORE than a little boxing under his belt to be a force. His defense makes Mitchell look like Ali:D

You are wrong about Tiggy-Mormeck. Tiggy landed quite a few punches on Mormeck, particularly rights to the body. In the final three rounds, Mormeck took a fair amount of punishment.

On the other hand, I agree with you that Mitchell is lucky that Tiggy isn't a major hitter. If Tiggy had serious power, he would have KO'd Mitchell in one or two rounds.

Mitchell is vastly overrated. In upcoming fights -- assuming he faces half decent competition -- Mitchell will be exposed as lost and confused in center ring, and wide open to right hands.

Don't be surprised to see Mitchell flattened soon.

I've watched both fights more than you, and I've watched them in slow motion. I've studied both fights very closely.

Mormeck may have gotten his head on Oquendo's and Tiggy's chest, but for the most part, he did not land as many punches as his foes. That was particularly obvious in the Oquendo fight. The Tiggy fight was messier, harder to score, but if you watch very, very closely, you'll see that Tiggy is getting more shots in during the first four rounds, and during the final three rounds.

In the end, you have to go with the guy who lands the most punches. Oquendo outclassed Mormeck, and Tiggy edged him in a close one.

Timor hurt Seth before Seth took him out, Seth is a KO waiting to happen, that being said I believe he KOs Haye.

This is one thing we agree on: Mago has no defense. None whatsoever.

I think Mitchell vs Mago would be very, very interesting. I would tend to lean toward Mitchell, in fact.

I don't know if Timor hurt Seth, but he snapped his head back about three times with rights. That's not a good sign for Seth.

Truth be told, I think Timor's success at landing rights may have made him cocky, which led to him rushing Seth, then getting clipped by the devastating left hook that buzzed him beyond recovery.

Mitchell may not be so fortunate the next time he meets a top-20 opponent.

Mitchell's chin is untested. I'll bet he fails when smashed by his first truly powerhitting opponent.

Watched a bit of him yesterday and then, just to compare, a bit of prime Riddick Bowe. Mitchell looks like he might become a contender but that's it. Of course, unless a new champ emerges after the Klitschkos retire, he might get his hands on a belt. Isn't he 29, though? His window could almost open and close before Wladimir retires.

I'd kinda' like to see Mitchell fight Wilder.

THAT would answer a lot of questions about both fighters.
