McDermott isn't the most active of boxers (only one fight in each of the past two years) but just over a month after being stopped by Price he is back on Friday against Pavels Dolgovs (9-17-2) on Mickey Helliet's card in King's Cross. Despite his poor record Dolgovs has lost only one of his four fights in the UK and Ireland and that was against Mike Perez.
good luck to him still plenty of fights out there we are willing to watch him involved in, the winner of skelton v dallas springs to mind
:deal I said this on the night, basically most fighters take a few shots on gloves to feel power. The shock can shake up system. Some fighters punch self in face to make them ready for it cos the gloves are firm and it's a shock no doubt. He ran in got clipped and his senses were shaken, he slammed floor that shows his frustration mentally he was there by physically he was shaken.
The good thing for him is there is alot of fast food places in Kings Cross too for before and after he fights.
Glad he's not packed it in, always liked Big John, would love to see him win the British title before he retires but doubt it somehow
Didn't you hear, that was one of the most brutal knockouts of allying and Price is a combo of Shavers, Lennox and Wlad and will beat everyone in the world. Ever.
He needs to just get in decent shape, he is obese, and is probably riddlered with health issues. Weather it be for his boxing, or his general qaulity of life.
