Cleverly states Tommy hit him the hardest from all of his fights. Cleverly is definitely in trouble once he faces real opposition.

So to sum that up no way on earth Macerenelli should be let in with a world class fighter he might beat Cleverly though.

    Get used to it.

Even as a Brit I'm tired of him now. I'm even more tired of reading fellow Brits draw any comparison whatsoever to Calzaghe with this 'protege' rubbish.

Calzaghe slapped very hard before his brittle hand problems and even then he put BHop to bed. He'd have had an opponent like Karpency out of there within 3 rounds.

The Clev camp know he's not going to do it against top class opposition so be prepared to put up with another 2-3 years of mismatches before they can't dodge any longer - then it'll be lights out and game over.

Sorry to say it, but it'll happen.

WTF? Britsch is getting a hair cut on his stool, his cornrows being scissored off. Malignaggi style.

Bernard and Chad must be glad they're fighting each other and not Clev.
He shook up the world tonight.

    Official cards:

    115-113 Santos (Italian judge)
    117-112 Britsch (Croatian judge)
    114-114 draw (British judge)

    ...draw? :think

(I'm working with no audio here. The scores were presented as: 113-115, 117-112, 114-114).

I was only partialy watching the fight but Santos just got a draw with Britsch, I think Santos gave more effort and edged the win but OK.

They cut away before I could gauge the respective corner reactions. (ie one guy celebrating or looking dejected).

I think it was indeed a draw. :conf

Yeah, the impression he gave me from the very limited attention paid between rounds of Cleverly vs. Karpency was that Santos was making Britsch very uncomfortable all night. All power punches all the time, never taking his foot off the gas.

I'm really surprised how popular this thread was, considering the fights.

BTW, this thread has easily surpassed Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Marco Antonio Rubio to become the 6th all time most replied to RBR thread in ESB General Forum history.
