He might be a good boxer but he has no punching power to speak of, they are talking about him fighting Dawson, Hopkins etc they will walk straight through him if he does't start sitting down on his punches.

Agreed. Clev's power is ****. Enzo Mac beats him IMO.. Clev is probably one of the few ppl who can't knock him out. Hopkins, Dawson, Pascal and even Froch all outclass him
Froch could walk through the punches Clev was throwing. he was not loading up most of the tome though... weird
Yea, it seems like a lot of times he doesn't go full speed as well. He's a really weird fighter, maybe he sometimes trades power for workrate to get the rounds and conserve his stamina.
This is coming from a Cleverly fan He does have decent power but it wasnt evident tonight, Cleverly know he could win just by tippy tapping his opponent and throwing a hard shot now and again. I was very disapointed in nathans performance and felt he cruised through this fight, it was a live sparring session not a world title fight. It annoys me because he is much better than what he showed
He's merely a paper champion anyway, I wouldn't take his accomplishments too seriously. Without a doubt he is the worst current 'World champion' in the sport. Three World title fights thus far for Cleverly and they have been against Aleksy Kuziemski, Bellew and Karpency, utterly shocking. Cleverly loses badly to the first top 20 fighter he faces.
