    Rightfully. There is no reason for 12. Being "famous" does not mean you should automatically be in a 12 rounder.

    Only title bouts (whether meaningless trinkets or not) and eliminators should go 12.

    Random bouts where two contenders from one weight are moving up to debut at a new weight? Nah...

    Alexander is tossing right jabs into the face and whipping right hooks to the body of Maidana as he comes forward. Alexander keeps pawing at his right eye, which is bleeding badly. Maidana is dive-bombing the body with his right, but getting countered with lots of right jabs and hooks from Alexander. Very nice work from Alexander, out boxing Maidana easily.

    Maidana finally takes one for me, however, I could see Alexander getting it for landing the four hardest shots of the round in the final 30 seconds.
