I tell you, If Edgar can take Hendo down at will, MAynard may have a good chance at becoming champ again.
I agree, I heard jackasses saying that in the Pac/Juan III fight. atsch Where in the rulebook does it say you have to be biased in favor of the champion
Henderson can scramble, which gives him a chance at beating superior wrestlers like Maynard. Also, Maynard's Chin and cardio are ****, so all in all, he has a slim chance to LnP Henderson and a big chance to be KOed or submitted.
Nowhere, it is just a bull**** cliche that they have heard said before, so they repeat it ad nauseam. Whoever wins the most rounds, wins the fight. It is not any more complicated than that. You do not need to see the champion decapitated and burned on a stake for him to lose his belt.
i had it 3-2 Henderson. Sucks to be Frankie. Had to prove he beat Penn and Maynard twice only to lose to Henderson. However, it's a great excuse to set up an Aldo-Edgar fight.
exactly man. It's like, "Oh well Ben out landed him and knocked him down twice in that round. But I'll give it to Frankie since he was the champ and he was coming forward"
Edgar takes down/slams everyone he's in with. Pretty certain he did to Maynard in their 2nd and 3rd meetings as well. He's a strong guy. Jim Miller and Clay Guida, two grinders, had little success with Henderson in that respect.
Aldo will shatter his Glass Jaw violently. I hope they make that fight because it will be one of the greatest KOs in history.
Yeah call it even then but Edgar outlanded Hendo in that 5th round including a clean left. Again, my question is it is quantity or damage that they score on. Im not familiar with judging criteria for the UFC.
doesn't matter. I think they could sell it on "oh Frankie did so well against guys bigger than him, let's put him against the FW Champ"
