I do find that Broner sounds like Mayweather a little bit but again this guys looks to be like he will be a problem in this sport for whoever gets in the ring with him. I am noticing a lot of hate already for this guy and I am beginning to feel like anytime there is a black boxer who is good, talks and is talented, people find fault with him. Take chad dawson for example, good fighter who doesn't speak and no one seems to care or give him his just due. Andre Ward will soon get the same treatment. It seems as if black fighters have to talk **** while beating meanwhile generating hate from the public which will turn into ppv buys to see them lose. Just my opinion.

Broner is definitetly walkin' the walk right now.

I was mighty impressed with his performance, overall. Let him crow like a rooster, at least he's not slapping his opponents or throwing camera tripods around.

He should be what he wants to be. As long as he's not hurting anyone he's doing a fine job. Boxing is the only sport in which prima donnas get a pass from me because promotion is a big part of a boxer's career. Keep in mind they are entertainers. Some choose to remain humble and let their skills do all the promoting. Others like to rely on their flamboyant personality. I honestly don't think either path is wrong or ill-advised. Everyone loves a good matchup between light and dark or good vs. evil. Without the Broners, Mayweathers, Mayorgas, etc. boxing wouldn't be as fun to watch because admit it, you know it feels damn good to see fighters you hate lose, especially if he gets beaten by one of your favorite fighters. And I do use the term "hate" loosely. It's ok to hate as long as it's not extreme or serious.

The "Can Man". He can fight anyone. MexiCAN. RiCan. DominiCan. AmeriCan. (And of course, the always-available TomatoCan). :good

Kellerman should have retorted with an equally wicked gay-assness: "so what that means is that you'll never fight a PhillipiNo?!?" :nut:yep

Broner is the truth! I bet Bob Arum will try his best to prevent any matchups between Broner and any Top Rank affiliated fighters.

PBF didn't talk **** at first and was putting on some of the best clinics of the era and no one gave a ****. He then started to talk **** to people like Gatti and people took notice and he became the biggest star in the sport. Being black and being good and humble isn't good enough the Dawson example is a great one as is Bradley.

For some strange reason I quite like this guy.

I'd heard some things about him but he just seems like a very confident man and he is genuinely good at speaking, as well as the whole knocking people out thing.

    Good future.
