i couldnt believe my eyes. the proud tradition of scottish boxing and he goes and does that? it was one of the most blatant quits ive ever seen. i mean, we castigate fighters when they quit but a lot of the time they are taking proper beatings, shafikov just seemed to be outboxing him and he wanted out. The big stage, sky TV, european belt, 3000 home fans. simply incredible. i doubt many of that 3000 would hand over their money again.
Bitter **** all, you're ****ing golden boy shat his pants and quit infront of his home support, and you still cheered him. ****ing idiots.
He was never my golden boy, ive never rated him, but he is scottish and a would have loved to have seen him win last night, he was a disgrace tho the way he handled himself. What a find laughable is youse huns on this thread making comments about the sheep shaggers etc a bet youse were oh hoping he lost last night just because you have a hatred for everything aberdeen, and am no fae aberdeen.
That's only the 2nd time I've seen a trainer speaking English to the fighter with an interpreter on hand. The other was Israel Vazquez with Roach.
His tattoo is about as good as his boxing. The Russian isn't bad, but he's pretty ragged and should be relatively easy to out-manoevre. McAllister just looks scared to me, against anyone that can get past his pretty average jab he looks ****ed. Eventually his legs start to desert him due to all his excessive movement and he just takes more and more punishment. Like a really **** poor version of Amir Khan.
Please try and speak English. I don't like him, not because he is from Aberdeen, but because he is an arsehole of the highest order. Its just a bit of a bonus that he's from Aberdeen.
What a ****ing sissy. Took a few shots and just quit. He wasn't getting the **** kicked out of him, and he had an experienced cornerman with him who'd know when to pull him out. Just didn't fancy it at all.
Sky commentators seem to be under the impression that he broke his right hand at some point in the fight.
