McAllister is saying in the interview that the problems were with his left hand. "Rematch with bigger money"
''The last thing I want to do is to be pulled out so I went out with my heart on my sleeve'' :nut You can tell he's lying because talking at a million words a minute and dodging the questions by waffling on. Absolutely **** all wrong with his hand IMO. He reminds me of Victor Ortiz after the Mayweather fight. He's got his money, didn't get hurt and can walk away.
Look mate, my dislike of Aberdeen doesn't come from any history on my part between Rangers and Aberdeen but by the appalling way i've been treated the three times I've visited the place. As soon as Aberdonians heard the Glasgow accent it was instant dislike on their part. **** them.
He's still a good lad though .I wouldn't slate him man especially being Scottish and just because he's a pro .He's done more in boxing than i'll ever do in my life so deserves respect from me :bbb
I found it pretty funny because it was cringeable .He obviously doesn't see anything wrong with a rematch for bigger money but that made me lol , hillarious [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6-wzwYtkOQ"][/ame]
That's a fair view tbh, Im just not a fan of fighters quitting, in certain cases it can be justified but in this case he could have easily carried on imo. The fans paid money to see him fight after all.
Nor me. Plenty of fighters have taken a pounding from pillar to post for 12 rounds and stayed in there - look at someone hopeless like Uzzy Ahmed who was probably only getting a couple of grand ffs. McAllister started ok-ish, then started getting broken down, but it was only the last couple of rounds that the Russian started putting it on him, and he just quit. A broken hand isn't much excuse either (if it's actually true), plenty of fighters have damaged their hands and fought on, win or lose. He just, I don't know.... seems like a bit of a twat - of course that doesn't explain him quitting but it's the first word that springs to mind when I hear his name, or read something about him. He's not right in the head. I remember about a week after Hatton lost to Mayweather he was mouthing off in his local rag calling Hatton a bum and accusing him of being a ducker. Obviously he's quite keen on self promotion but I thought the whole idea of talking was to make people sit up and take notice, not just laugh their bollocks off and want you to get ****ed up every time you fight. Definitely an odd ball. I think he should be sectioned and linked up to the national grid. There'd be no more oil dependency, that's for sure.
I don't think McAllister's actually that big a ticket-seller in his own right. I think most of the pro cards up in the North of Scotland will always attract a near sell out crowd as Tommy Gilmour has seen in his previous shows at the Beach Ballroom & The Drumossie Hotel in Inverness. Just through the fact that we're neglected to the pro cards that Glasgow, Edinburgh & the North of England have.
