what weight division and which boxers would you include?

I know last time out was chaotic but at least there were a few bouts, which materialised forom the Super 6 tournament...most notably Kessler v Froch.

Also, I dont care for Pac and Floyd, so lets exclude them from any picks to make it a little more interesting...

I prefer to keep it 4 man tourney involving just the belt holders tbh, less can go wrong, theres less politics and you get the same result at the end.

Martinez, Sturm, Chavez jr, Pirog, Golovkin and Proksa/Quillin

With the likes of Barker, Murray, Macklin, P.Williams to be called on in case someone pulls out

Not that this could or would ever happen

I don't think so. Two established champs looking for money? Nah. Protected Junior? Nah.

Definitely Middleweight, it's stacked division in terms of talent but empty in terms of fights.

As previously mentioned, no. Not his thing. Him & Sturm are established top dogs looking for money fights.

A tourney is set for top 10 folks who are looking for world wide recognition. Martinez has had that for a while now.

Assuming they could be relied on to make 140 for the duration of the tourney, I'd have the following line-up:

    Alexander
    Khan
    Maidana
    Peterson
    Rios
    Gamboa

Haven't included JMM, as the concept should be to create a star by the end of it, rather than use established marquee names.

Not perfect by any means, but as Bradley has already got the big money fight, and the other 6 are fighting (or have fought) each other, a tourney would make (retrospective) sense. It would also set up a Khan-Maidana rematch, and whoever came out on top would be in a strong position for big fights. I think it would be unlikely that Khan would commit 2 years of his career to it though, rather than hold out for a Mayweather fight.
