Not sure if this has already been done but i love the new intro. The back drop off the fighters duking it out against the concrete really works for me! :happy

It's quality but I'm suprised by some of the fight scenes they decided to show.

Unless they were just testing the waters, I have no idea why they resorted to the old intro after the new one was so awesome.

I didn't get that either. Personally i thought the new intro was awesome. Much better than that gladiator rock crap.

I think it's awesome too. I like how it essential tells the story of the UFC in chronological order. Only the fights on the screens are out of sequence. It's spectacular and educational. :good

Hopefully they will realise they are on to a good thing with the new style and drop the tired Gladiator stuff next time out

Did anyone else notice the subtle little tweaks too, on screen punch stats ect,

Yup i saw that too! Big league **** right there. A lot more professional. Now all they have to do is get rid of that idiot Goldberg and tell Rogan to tone it down or better yet shut up.

Im not keen on this stats malarky personally, seems to be an American obsession. Calling out stats does not substitute for a good play by play and good colour. But the team seemed to be bringing up the stats every 30 seconds.

I guess I just prefer the more off the cuff style, even with Goldy and Joe's faults. If I wanted to listen to stats, Id be an accountant

One of the problems as well is that the stats are given a weight they don't deserve. So Rogan going "they should give these to the judges...I mean we have a COMPUTER doing them". And its like bull****. You have a guy counting, there's the same element of human error as the judging. I mean the main event proved that - Fightmetric and Compustrike disagreed on who had landed the most strikes.

But yeah the new intro is a big improvement on the old one. Did any of you hear the story about how they wanted to do some viral spot with the guy who played the Gladiator but they couldn't find him.

No Stoo, I think stats are a good idea as well. Although that may be a direct result of all the american sports I watch :D

I love the new intro, the new clock and I like the new stats although I agree that they brought them up too often. Now the the two things to get rid of are to get rid of Dana and replace Goldberg and maybe Rogan too. Rogan does know what he's talking about but he's extremely biased and unprofessional, I like Kenny Florian for the job much better.

Goldberg....well I think you all know  For my money the best commentator is Jimmy Smith
