1. Froch declined $1M to fight Bute in Montreal? EDDIE HEARN NEEDS TO CONFIRM THIS.

2. Bute doesn't want to fight Stevenson, would rather face the top dogs.

3. Despite Bute coming out to say he'd fight Ward in Oakland, Goosen did not contact Interbox with an offer.


FML this **** needs to get translated on the Scene, the boxing world needs to be talking about Bute if he indeed is being avoided. Again I'm not saying he is, just want the other parties to comment.

Hearn/Froch need to speak up, like.. now. Bédard is meeting with Showtime tomorrow to possibly discuss Ward vs Bute.

 

In my country we've known for a long time not to believe every thing you read.There are constantly incidents of foreign players(football) going back home,giving interviews where they badmouth their manager or team mates then come home and say the interview never happened.
Why do Bute fans take every single word Bute or Interbox are reported to have said as gospel?

I've said before and I'll say again;I've no doubt Bute wants tough fights.I've lots of doubts that Interbox are as keen.I've never seen fans so devoted to a fighter's PROMOTERS! Keep a modicum of realism guys.Promoters are professional bullshitters.

Besides, it's Bute himself -a known gentleman- saying this. It's cool if you doubt the fact that the interview happened, I left something with Interbox for them to confirm. We should have an answer tomorrow.

All i'm trying to point out Drozzy is that I don't believe for a minute they offered Froch a $1m offer with no option clause,just a straight walk away whatever happens deal because it rarely (if ever) happens.
I'm not sticking up for Froch here.I just hear Khan saying every month "we've offered this one and that one fights and they're all scared."
He makes no mention of paltry percentages,add ons and other various clauses.
I very much doubt Froch would get a better offer than a straight $1m so I'm sceptical as to how simple the contract was.
And if you tell me it was Bute who said it,I've got nothing bad whatsoever to say about the man's integrity or character but it won't convince me that it's necessarily so.
And you should also know I never view Bute's fans as a single entity.:good
