A crazy myth is that at a carnival a younger Max Baer knocked out a bull with a right hand to the head

I don't buy into the myth that once a puncher always a puncher. Those reflexes deteriorate and the snap they had as youth is gone. Sizzling left hook turns into wide telegraphed hook. On rare occasions, you get that Sanders-Klitschko or Foreman-Moorer result, but lots of times even those results are stylistic matchups always tough at any time for the losers.

The Duran versus horse one is genuine apparently it's a bit of a party trick - horses have a particular spot (I think which is just below the ear or something where if they catch a bang even a fairly light one it can put them under for a minute - you'd probably be able to do it yourself if you knew the exact spot - obviously for anyone unaware of this the feat would seem a pretty remarkable one but really it's just knowing where the particular pressure point is that counts apparently - although I certainly wouldn't encourage this kind of thing as I'm an animal lover so please kids leave those animals alone :)

My personal two favourites is the Clay-Cooper I thing about them having to get a new glove and Clay getting an extra minute to recover or whatever HAHA LOL never happened whatsoever haha and the other one is the Marciano-Moore thing about the ref pushing Moore away wiping his gloves/Marciano falling into the ropes staring out into the crowd the ref then coming over to him aswell and wiping his gloves aswell and tugging him to help bring him round!!! Aaahhahahaha never ever happened whatsoever - Marciano was up in a flash ref waved Moore in and Marciano actually waded back into Moore and didn't give him the punching room or time to get back on him properly

Moore disagreed with you. He insisted till the end that Kessler gave Marciano an inordinate amount of time to recover, and that Marciano was KO'd. Moore ran into Kessler many years later in an airport, and Kessler approached him hand out, and Moore just snubbed him. He should have cold cocked him.

Another jobbed fighter. The People's Revolutionary Record Book reads Moore KO2 Marciano.

Yeah heard all the stories and there all bull too I gave the fight on film Marciano sure a little stunned when he rises but the fight is waved on without any discernible interruption - there is nothing - unless your gunna tell me the film has been edited too?? I have the full fight footage and there is no editing no cuts or switches in camera angle or anything?? Marciano rises quickly (probably too quickly) and looks to be walking a little sheepishly for a second slightly in the opposite direction to catch a second as most fighters probably do and the referee actually waves Moore in - Moore actually looks a little hesitant for some reason and as soon as he comes in Marciano starts getting back in club Moore about the arms and body?? There is no delay at all?? If anything the only delay is the pause from Moore himself in coming for the kill? But maybe he was wary about the wounded tiger thing?? God knows but all the gumph about him fall into the ropes and having his arms tugged by ref to bring him round is utter bilge - just as the new glove farce in Clay-Cooper I - it's embarrassing
