he can get robbed in the US, too. If you want to be a world wide star, and Broner might have the potential to be one, you have to expose yourself to some risks at one point. Also as far as I know, foreign fighters so far got fair decisions in Japan.

There are 2 belts there, if Broner could make a good impact he might have a good shot at both of them. Having 2 belts at SFW and moving up then, would also immiditately secure high profile fights at the higher weight for him. As I said, one can dream:D

Broner doesn't need to go anywhere he is American promoted by Goldenboy and managed by AL Haymond. Nobody even know those Japanese fighters. All he has to do is keep winning and talking **** and he will be a star. They are promoting him right. Making him a name among the black audience getting him on HBO. Next few years he will be a household name in America. Then the world when he gets the right fight. If he is good enough

I doubt JMM is going back to 135lbs...and if he did and was still healthy in the weight, it would be career suicide for Broner, as JMM would **** him up...Too skilled, and experienced for young Broner.

If you are a true fan of boxing, and want to see the best of the division fight each other to determine who the best in that division is then yeah, it would make perfect sense.

If you just want him to become a star by taking the easy route and fight a bunch of no hopers, and build up a silly personality so he can sell tickets, until it eventually gives him a big fight, then sure i guess it would make sense.

Me, im a boxing fan, so i much prefer the former.

Hey, Sanchez and Benitez had fought and beat ALL TIME GREATS by 22. Don't bring the age excuse again. I wan't to see Broner in a competitive fight, unlike you, I like a Fight, not a one sided beat down, That'a not why I follow this sport. Linares vs Broner would be great to start off at 135.

If he gives us action packed fights, I don't see how you can hate on the guy, the guy fought 3 damn fight of the year candidates, the fights were competitive, doesn't matter if he fights at 135 or moves down to 126, the best thing to do is fight a competitive fight, if you're dominating opposition you need better opposition, but then again we only know if the fight was competitive at the end of the fight, there's a better chance for a great fight at 135 than at 130, so move up, not just broner, any Boxer who's fighting lesser opposition, Canelo needs to fight the best, yeah he's young and all, but like I said other fighters had been having wars since they were 18.

    Canelo
    Broner
    Chavez jr

need to fight the best possible, better to start right now than latter.

Whats with this true fan ****? You and I know both are not leaving their country for a fight that is not going to make that much money. So lets get out of fantasy land and back to reality.

Yes, back to reality where Boxing is looking more bad each time out.

Sorry for being a true fan of the sport and wanting Boxing to be how it use to be: The best fighting the best.

What i remember back in the day was THE best fighting each other, and no bull**** excuse about financial gains...Guess all that is just for us true fans of the sport, not for the new generation of fans.

He ought to move up to get more compelling fights.

I'd like to see him up against Demarco, and then eventually Rios.

No you are just an idiot and wont admit these kind of fights didnt happen much in the past either. An unknown fighter from Japan was not fighting some relatively unknown American in a fight that not many cared about. Even if they were the two best in a weight class. The fight game is about money and as much as I would like to see it this fight doesn't make sense so its not going to happen. And it would have not happen 30 years ago either.
