    The adjustment khan needs to make: get an inside game

    To be honest that kind of thing needs like a year and 3-4 training camps to be effectivley added, also i dont think roach is the best man for the job.

    Khan's best chance for me is just learn how to clinch, and rearrange his guard to block the uppercut, other than that work on his conditioning like a beast and up his punch output.

    I think thats about the best changes he can make in one camp, and should be enough to win him the fight by a few rounds

    I think Khan wins a wide UD but i can't understand why some people are so sure he will stop him... he knocked him down twice first fight and didn't finish the job. Lamont hasn't just weakened overnight. Will be interesting to see how Khan fights early, he'll be very nervous i would imagine

    I see a khan stoppage as the least likely outcome tbh

    Khan Dec
    Lamont Dec
    Draw
    Lamont KO
    Khan KO

    in order of probabilities

    No way does he stop him.. Also, to suggest they overlooked him enough to be able to beat him as easy as buncey thinks in the rematch suggests a severe lack of respect for lamont p and what he showed us.. For me khan only beats him easily if he can generate enough power to stop him.. Lamont didn't respect khans power nor did he respect his inside game.. Can Khan change this? Doubt he can change it enough for this fight to be "so easy" like buncey suggests

    @Boro Chris

    Alexander "poor" at 140? Your definition poor must be different to mine. Matthysse was post-Bradley anyway. He was far, far from poor.

    Andriy Kotelnik who really was an average fighter beat Alexander clearly before Bradley, and he did it without butts.

    Matthyse also clearly beat Alexander imo, he did get two dodgy decisions and his best win was over urango who had a brain implosion and decided to walk into uppercuts.

    Alexander telegraphed his punches with bruce lee sound effects, neglected his jab and demonstrated largely little power.

    Alexander was an alright fighter at 140

    Much better than "alright" aswell.

    Unified = alright? Hmmm

    The judges dont seem to think the "average" Kotelnik beat him.

    The judges were corrupt and biased

    Unified= Shot witter for vacant title, Witter then retires. Idiotic, limited Urango, who then rubberstamped that victory by proving his desire and class by retiring.

    What a great run of victories against trully impressive foes.

  11. Khan could beat Peterson easily.

    That's assuming....

    He picks his punches better
    He establishes his jab early
    He boxes in smaller circles and forces Peterson to reset regularly
    He's learnt to tie up on the inside and force the ref to break - standing there and getting hit/pushing is no good

    You really are an idiot if you truly believe Alexander was "alright" at 140. And a stubborn ****er to boot.

    He wasn't great or exceptional but to call him poor, average or alright is just silly.

    N.B: If a fight is close - IT CAN'T BE A ROBBERY!

    Everyone is talking about how Amir can win if he makes changes but what about Peterson?

    If Peterson makes a few adjustments then he might be even more effective against Khan this time round.

    He wasn't excaptional or alright?

    ok, lets compromise, he was middling to good.

    and NB the fight wasn't close, I had Kotelnik by something like 3-4 rounds, it was one of them fights where you didnt even really need to keep score because after round 3 Kotelnik dominated

    True but i'd argue he's more likely to stick to what was effective, why would he change?
