Bute I made(Froch) an offer of 1mil$ he refused(Can) now I'm wating for an offer(Eng)

I posted a message on a reporter's blog over at RDS, it got deleted within minutes. No idea why, especially since there are way more outrageous posts on his blog.

As for Interbox, there's something waiting for them on their FB page. Sure it's gay and everything, but their rep comes on there every day and speaks on behalf of the PR team (Director: David Messier).

Good job on making the Scene aware. And it's a great week to talk about this even for them, there's not much going on.

 

The fact that Lucian is willing to go to Oakland just makes no sense, other than the fact he is really hard up for a big fight. Why the hell would Andre Ward turn that down. He cheated once in Oakland, he could do it again.

And I'm sure Showtime will happily extend that fee to Bute and Froch if the winner gives them a 1-3 fight option.

Bute doesn't seem interested in dealing with Showtime because he knows HBO had deeper pockets for the potential Ward or even Hopkins fight. He don't want to be tied up again, but of course Shwotime is not helping their cause holding this fight up praying Ward will take it for peanuts(in comparison to waiting for a bidding war.)

 

If he butted Bute, Bute would throw an upper cut into his testicles and not only would Ward be sterilized and possibly chemically castrated, he'd be drained for however many rounds the fight went on with Bute's head bleeding. :think

 

I'm sure we'll know a bit more in 24 hrs from now. ASSUME for a second Hearn & Froch decided it's not a good timing (coming off a loss) and instead chose to disregard the Bute option altogether this time around....... with Ward hinting at a Bute fight in answer to some random fan, and with Bédard meeting with Showtime execs tomorrow, we might be looking at Ward-Bute a.k.a. Ken Hershman's dream. I think Showtime would make it a PPV seeing how 3 belts would be at stake, and it's not impossible depending on the location (NYC? LA?) to think Ward could get around 1.5M and Bute 1.0M which is fairly satisfying for both at this point IMO.

After all, Showtime would be the laughing stock of.. well everyone, if they don't make the Bute vs S6 winner happen after all that talk around his signing @ SHO back then. Ward & Bute can then go their own ways, LHW or not, and land something on HBO afterwards.

About #2:
Bute doesn't want Stevenson because it would be a very risky fight. Not only does he (Bute) has very little to gain from a win but this Stevenson guy looks almost like a lighter Mike Tyson. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a champ soon.

Personally as a Bute fan I think Stevenon is a worst fight for Bute than Froch.

So, Adonis Stevenson was on national tv tonight @ Tout le Monde en Parle (SRC).

The man says, "I stopped Bute in sparring when we were training for the Commonwealth games. Every time we gloved up, he'd get discouraged. (Q: do you think he's scared?) I know he's scared. (Q: are there any negotiations on the go?) Well suppose the fight with Froch doesn't happen, right now I'm #2 so I have a pretty good chance of getting a shot."

...and people seem to like the guy, he has a certain charisma to him. On RDS.ca (Quebec's ESPN) and even on facebook, the casual fans are saying "screw Froch, look no further, Interbox!! there's a challenge waiting in your own backyard!".

Unfortunately, there is a certain demand, and some degree of credibility over in QC for a Bute-Stevenson fight.

 

Stevenson is a Miranda clone, big power but poor fundamentals and a suspect chin. When you get KO'd by Darnell Boone...

 

He was telling Guy A. Lepage that it was all because he was undertrained for that fight, blaming his former manager. :nut

 

He is always blaming someone else. Who is the guy who left GYM to go with this former manager? Adonis himself of course. :nut

I don't want a Stevenson-Bute fight. :twisted:
