Not if his opponent objects, he'd have to rewrap. And yes ridges do more damage, more bruising/cuts/damage Floyd got a heads up in an interview about them, so don't be suprised if they ever fight if Roach is asked to rewrap without them
i dont have a pic but basically what he does is rolls up like 6" long tubes of tape that he wraps in between each finger.
I don't think anyone here knows the rules for sure, but wouldn't it be logical to think that it's legal since they've been doing it for the last x amount of fights without any issues from the commission/authorities?
Legal under some commissions and not under others, it's the same wrapping Tito Trinidad had to remove against Hopkins
No it's not. It's the way Oscar used to wrap his hands. When Pacquiao fought Oscar, Roach tried to force him to re-wrap but the commission said it was perfectly legal, so then Freddie wrapped Manny's hands the same way. Apparently Pacquiao liked it and they've been doing it ever since.
Manny is a cheat and we know it. He cheats in many different ways. He may be the biggest fraud in boxung history when its all said and done.
Isn't it the same problem Roach had with MABs wraps? It's not the same bull**** Trinidad used, it's weird how his power dissapeared after his wraps were exposed isn't it...
