Jake Shields seldom looks amazing , but what he's good is really difficuilt to negate , thats what makes him the top class fighter he is , bare this in mind ??!! , how the **** does a fighter with his stand up , mix in the worlds elite and get by ??? , because of his other attributes

I would of liked to have seen him tap Akiyama but hey !!! , im still a fan

Its a simple remedy fella's , if you dont like him , dont watch him

 

This is a sport, he's not an actor. What are we suppose to do, not watch certain UFC fights or cards when he is on? Freak.

He should go up to 185 it was a mistake to fight at WW. The ufc just wanted him to do so because there was no challenger for GSP

 

Thats because he is. Dudes always been SUPREMELY overrated. If you want to watch human paint drying watch a Shields bout. Dude is about as exciting as turnip.

 

He did. His insistence to grab you when near still makes it difficult to let strikes go freely.

Gil, Nate and Nick must beat him up when they are just boxing or striking.

 

Thats not true it was Strikeforce who forced Shields's hand @185 , they had no opponent for Robbie Lawler , in stepped Shields (as long time friend and training partner Nick Diaz was SF's WW star) and tapped him in the first round

Mayhem followed for the vacant strap , then Henderson

Then he went back to his true weight class 170

 

It doesn´t matter if WW is his true weight class he looked like **** at this weight maybe the weight class is just stronger but what does he have to lose by going back to 185, he won´t beat a top WW

 

Or we could watch him and critique him how we feel necessary.
