You're a teenager living in America, basically his whole target audience. He has a huge fanbase, I'm surprised you've never heard of him.

I do. but the problem is you get a whole bunch of stupid comments and no one appreciates it. I love to analyze fights imagining how certain styles will mesh and what certain attributes of a fighter can off set the other fighters attributes.

I love when you just can tell the outcome of a fight before it happend. Cotto - Margo 1 was a fight like that for me. I justknew in my head how that fight was going to play out and it did.

Thanks, appreciate that PTF. There's nothing wrong with your breakdowns, you're a good guy to have a solid Boxing discussion with :good

Bogatozo (Spelling) is fantastic at breaking fights down and is open minded enough to take other peoples opinions on board.

Drozzy is good when it comes to Bute, no evidence to judge his knowlege of other fighters.

IB is straight to the point, good for an opinion, not neccesarily for a discussion.

It's a shame Lance Uppercut is such a close minded arsehole, sometimes he has decent points but if anyone disagrees he tends to insult, rather than debate.

PostBox, when he can be arsed...

Hook! has sound knowlege for a young guy who's never Boxed before

I've probably missed a hundred and one people, so apologies!

I know what you mean. Hopkins-Tito was the first one for me. Ended up going just like I predicted.

Even when experts break down upcoming fights they tend to be wrong. (Save obvious things, like Ward beating Froch, or Vitali beating Chisora.) So even if analyzes of more knowledgeable posters than myself is an interesting read I dont put much faith in them.

And to answer the thread, I cant break down fights for ****. I just assume that the boxer who seems sharper/smarter/tougher will win.

I think many others on the board do a better job than I do, but I am capable. One thing I always like to look at is footwork and positioning. A fighter can have handspeed or power, but if he's not in the right place, he isn't going to land solid shots.

Provided I've seen enough of the fighters in question, I believe I can do a very good job breaking down a fight. When I've seen less of one in comparison to the other, or not a substantial amount of either, I'll either refrain from commenting or make sweeping remarks disguised with colourful language.
