I think that Boxnation seriously needs to increase it's programming between fights, far too many repeats. They need to show classic fights and documentaries, they showed a few in the buildup to Klitschko/Chisora, the Joe Bugner one in particular was excellent. You can go to Frank ****** TV on Youtube and watch loads of fights, so what's the problem with these being shown on Boxnation? Also they have far too much content available on Freeview, I understand they have to promote the channel, but as long as one does not mind seeing the fight live you can just about see all of Boxnations output via Freeview, this can't be fair on subscribers. I'm a big fan of the channel, and really hope it works, the international coverage has been very good, but they do need to be mindful of the domestic shows, these haven't always been as good as they could/should be........
Hammers ,looking at the SKY television schedule This content is protected http://i39.tinypic.com/10z2qon.gif
When Sky announced that Golden Boy deal...they didn't actually say they had an exclusive rights deal for anything longer than 2 months (Feb+March)
When BoxNation said they are showing Mayweather v Cotto, they didn't mention the undercard. Are they only showing the main event?
Funny guy.....what i meant was people seem to think Sky have every goldenboy fight locked in for the next 3 years or something when in reality the deal doesn't last longer than past March!
OK I'll be honest. I couldn't tell whether your post was serious or ripping on some of hammers' posts.:good But they aren't going to make such a fuss about signing a short term deal like that. They publicised all of Golden Boy's scheduled shows and they can't really do much more than that. Obviously there are cards like Hopkins v Dawson, but as has been mentioned on here before is a co-promotion with Gary Shaw, so perhaps Golden Boy don't hold the international TV rights for that fight. I wouldn't get worried or overly dramatic yet.
