Floyd bouta beat a real Cotto..not a weight drained Cotto or one who has to deal with a steroid freak or illegal wraps.

Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs), a titleholder at 147 pounds, had agreed to drop below the welterweight limit for the fight. Pacquiao, the 140-pound junior welterweight champion, wanted him to come all the way down to 143 pounds. Cotto refused. Ultimately, they agreed on a 145-pound maximum weight.

Cotto held a belt @ 147 before he fought Manny and his PREVIOUS 8 FIGHTS WERE AT 147 AS WELL.

So you're basically saying Manny weight drained him 2 ****ing lbs? Are you ****ing kidding me? :patsch

People are so ******ed now a days and will cling to any excuse to bash another. Quit nut swinging bro. It's ****ing up your thinking

Making weight is not as easy as you think it is. 165 to 147 on a regular camp basis is taxing in itsetf especially as you age. Unless you have done this yourself you have no clue how detrimental a few pounds can be.

I watched the 24-7 show. Cotto fasted for 1 day and made weight and came in at 144. Somebody like Rios on the other hand is different. He has to fast for a week to make his limit. Come on bro, Cotto was not weight drained. Are you seriously gonna stick to that excuse?

And yes, I dropped 30 lbs in 42 days before. Hard work but your weight drained excuse is still ****.

Why do you think he moved up to 154 then. Loose those 30 pounds twice or 3 times a year. Fasting for the weigh in is normal, dedicating your whole training camp to making weight is another. Im not making any excuses, Cotto had a lot more wrong in that training camp than just the weight and thats a fact. Great victory for Manny none the less.
