Never very good, was he? John Murray gave him a hiding, he didn't want to know once Shafikov hit him.

Oh damn!!! He got ripped to bits in that article.

  3. Sky won't want to know, plus, who'll promote him?

Maloney has already laid into him, and anyone else that watched it probably has other ideas as to who to bring in as an opponent.

Considering McAllister's sense of self-worth/importance he'll probably want a fair whack to step in, too.

Him vs Limond has the potential to be the most boring fight in history, given McAllister's usual form and Willie's recent ''effort'' against Crolla, which was particularly disappointing from a good fighter like him.

It's not as if there's likely to be an opening for him in a Prizefighter at 140 or 147, there's loads of more entertaining and deserving names that are in the mix, like Murphy, Woodhouse perhaps and a few others.

Might as well retire from boxing and get a day job.

I feel kind of bad for the guy - he was made this way by the mollycoddling of his former promoters, as well as being idolised by the press as a two weight world champion and the general lack of knowledge of boxing in the city of Aberdeen. Hes been matched like a prospect his entire career, and wasn't (and will now never) be ready for a fight of this magnitude. If he had stepped it up years ago and taken a few losses along the way, he;d have been a much better fighter for it. Hes lucky he managed to easily nab a couple of commonwealth titles at the end of his career, because even though his resume has no impressive wins that is what will be his legacy.

 Get in Curtis! Lee is made for you, the guy can't handle pressure. Plus the Commonwealth Title is not to be sniffed at.

Lee is a talented fighter, but it seems that his fanbase has got to his head a bit. Maybe when the dust settles on this one & Lee realises Peter Harrison expects better as does his loyal fanbase?

Then maybe he will wake up, smell the coffee & realise that in boxing? You have to walk the walk. an old cliche I know, but so true. Lee seeemed to me a boxer drunk on he love of his local support, but while he was giving it big licks about being a pundit? Most of his fans had walked out confused & disgusted.

Time for a reality & ego check for Lee, cos in these hard financial times for everyone bar the footballers MP's & bankers? You have to work for every penny.

Cos the fans cannot afford to shell out for a guy who gets going when the going gets tough, & laughs about how popular he is in the aftermath whilst the fans desert in their droves...

I find it very strange Lee having Peter in his corner even though his brother trains him?
Actually felt sorry for Peter has he didnt have a clue what was going on and imo he should have been shown more respect

Completely agree - if I were Peter Harrison I wouldn't want to work with McAllister again after the way Saturday night all unfolded.

Good points I have to say I found his behaviour on Ringside pre fight a bit odd and what you have said really hits the nail on the head.
