I noticed that when Pacquiao wrapped for Marquez, the ridges on his wraps were not nearly as high as they were for Margarito.
I'm certain with the high ridges in the Margarito fight, Roach used a wider width tape inbetween Pacquiao's fingers to create those ridges.

It could very well have been a case of team Marquez taking it up with the NSAC well beforehand to ensure that Roach was'nt going to get away with wrapping Pacquiao's hands the way he did for the Margarito fight.
The width of the tape used to wrap for Marquez was seen on that last episode and it did'nt look like those rolled up strips were thick enough to create ridges on the knuckles.

You all saw the final episode of HBO's following Roach around.....

Wraps don't give you KO power. Had Tito used wraps, his opponents would have looked like Cotto. None of Tito's opponents ever looked like they got hit with plaster wraps.

Are those ridges of tape illegal? Yes. Are they allowed by the commission? Yes, which goes to show that they don't give a ****. They are making money. Manny will not wrap his hands like that against Mayweather and you can believe that. Its funny bc even Roach knows that it is illegal but if they let you do it then do it.
