he has a good style matchup, but he didn't knock him out or dominate him. Fact is Pacman fights everyone and is getting tired. JMM does not fight the competition which Pacman fights. Never has.
No matter who you're a fan, JMM deserves a WHOLE lot of respect and admiration. The guy is a GREAT technician and will never hesitate to fight the absolute best (no matter the weight). JMM = a credit to the sport of boxing. I don't want to change the subject of this thread, but I personally scored all 3 Pac fights to Marquez (fight 1 = 8-4, fight 2 = 7-5, fight 3 = 8-4). That's against the best or second best fighter (depending on your criteria) of this generation.
he does fight everyone you have to give him credit. Marquez fights mediocre guys and then has the big Pacman fights and people seem to think that puts him in Manny's class. Style matchup does not mean as much as quality of opposition. No way does Juan have that. not close. Manny would be an A plus and Marquez in comparison a C or C plus
