More had it a Marquez win or a draw than a Pacquiao win. :hi:

Here, have yourself a dose of reality:

    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1595865

56 scored it for JMM, 50 for Pac.
The rest had it at a draw.
That's 52% in favor of JMM, 48% in favor of Pac.

So yeah, you and Doc and divac can say "vast majority" all you want but those who live in the real world will always remember an awesome, balls-to-the-walls, cut throat, hairline-close trilogy between Pac and El Dinamita.

:? :patsch You trying to make JMM look bad actually works against you. How can you justify or even attempt to explain or criticize a 38 yr old going up 2 divisions to face Floyd and Pacquiao? And then on top of that gets another controversial loss to Pacquiao? A real boxing fan wouldn't do that only a *******. Oh wait...

We should appreciate him whilst he's still around.
Not gonna be the same when he rides off into the sunset.Glad he's finally getting the respect he deserves.

he has a good style matchup, but he didn't knock him out or dominate him. Fact is Pacman fights everyone and is getting tired. JMM does not fight the competition which Pacman fights. Never has.

No matter who you're a fan, JMM deserves a WHOLE lot of respect and admiration.

The guy is a GREAT technician and will never hesitate to fight the absolute best (no matter the weight).

JMM = a credit to the sport of boxing.

I don't want to change the subject of this thread, but I personally scored all 3 Pac fights to Marquez (fight 1 = 8-4, fight 2 = 7-5, fight 3 = 8-4). That's against the best or second best fighter (depending on your criteria) of this generation.

he does fight everyone you have to give him credit. Marquez fights mediocre guys and then has the big Pacman fights and people seem to think that puts him in Manny's class. Style matchup does not mean as much as quality of opposition. No way does Juan have that. not close. Manny would be an A plus and Marquez in comparison a C or C plus
