The old man was good enough to enter in the semifinals KO`ing a young man and was good enough to score a draw with a finalist on a scorecard.Noone said he`s old for Froch before the fight and after the fight not even thinked it.But, hey after 4 months and a half he`s already old.
No I don't agree.I don't need your ****ing permission or approval to say whatever the **** I want, just as no one needs mine.I see that you only pick parts of my responses where you can TRY to debate them. You leave other parts where I'm clearly correct out. You're trying to pick miniscule holes and denying you took things out of context, when you not only did that, but you also put words in my mouth that I did not say.I also see from other posts that when someone dares to take you on for any length of time, you bring out your thesaurus to try and complicate matters. No need, but if you feel you must, then bash on.Doesn't change the fact you've spun my posts and tried to disguise falsehoods as facts. If you want to argue with me,fine. At least do it without spinning my posts and words to suit your own argument. You said you've "sat on the sidelines",well as I said, you obviously don't know where I stand on these matters. A "thinker"???:huh A ****ing bullshitter from where I'm sitting. Let's stick to facts.I do not believe Froch was made a $1m,no option offer.I do not believe any boxing promoter ALWAYS tells the truth. My whole point is not about the offer being made, but what conditions came with it. I NEVER said Bute was a liar.Sick of repeating myself but you're obviously one of these childish people who has to have the last word.I said I don't believe it was a straight,no clause offer. I really am tired of this. You can have the last word. The people whose opinion I value here will know where I'm coming from, and plenty of those are loyal Bute fans.
1 m without showtime You do you think Bute is ??? Donald Trump ?? Bill gates ?? We never heard a counter offer from Kessler or Froch... Where is the big mouth of Froch ?
OK, then read my message again and tell me what specific phrase(s) of mine you don't agree with and why. I will ignore this part for this time. Well, in all fairness, this is a belief of yours, not a fact (unless you refer to the fact you are believing something else), but let's forget about this detail. If I got correctly your first point (please correct me if I'm wrong), you believe that Interbox offer was a kind of pack containing: 1. the $ 1M money offer and 2. some other restrictive conditions Froch & Hearn were not very happy with. I had already understood these points more than 24h ago. Now, read what Bute said: I made an offer of 1mil$ he refused. Is there any mention of conditions of the fight in the phrase?! No, there is none. Therefore whatever these conditions could have been, there cannot be a disagreement between what Bute said and your infered realty, right? On the other hand, if you make that generic statement about promoters' credibility on this thread, it means you have a reason to cast doubts on what Interbox said on this matter. But Interbox has not said a word, it is just Bute who made the above short statement in an interview, a statement with which you seem to have no problem. Consequently, your generic statement makes little sense within this precise context... unless you think there is still something fishy with Bute's declaration. So I'll rephrase myself: is there anything in Bute's statement which made you feel necessary to mention that promoters don't always tell the truth? If yes: what was it and why? If not: why did you mention it? Make me understand your reasons.
I am still waiting words from Froch and Hearns ... Where are they ?? Hiding somewhere....?? I hope that Interbox will annouce something today like Larouche whrote yesterday
No, he's not. That's the truth. You always everestimate the TV revenues and foget the expenses that a promoter has to pay. If Bute and Froch have 1M$ each, that means the promoter has only the TV rights, PPV Canada and Sky (not much because of the fight being in Canada) to pay all the rest of the card and all the other expenses, including the promoter's cut. That doesn't even work financially speaking. To offer 1M$ to Froch means Interbox loses money with that fight. And that is presuming the Bell Center is packed with 20 000 people. I don't even think there can be 20 000 good boxing seats in the Bell Center. Without Showtime, 1M$ is a huge offer.
davidshaw2k10 David Shaw @EddieHearn when can we expect news on barker and cobra? EddieHearn Eddie Hearn @davidshaw2k10 probably this week mate..loads going on
Your "likely" is not likely at all. Do your math homework again: the (gross) total available to both fighters in the Magee match, with Showtime support and after deducing all external expenses, was $ 1.4M. How much (gross) available money do you think could have been generated by a Bute-Froch match in Canada without Showtime? Please provide a raw estimation. How much Froch should have been offered (gross) for you not considering it lowballing? Please provide an amount. Compare the two estimations and draw a conclusion. Please explain it here.
forget about that with Denmark...for him it will be a low ball offer forever.... The truth is that there is no counter offer and no words from Froch...samething happened with Kessler btw
