    I can believe it.
It's much easier to sit on here and tell me and everybody else in the boxing business how to run the sport.
The event needs fans, real hardcore fans. Where are you? Every time I open my mouth somebody comes on here and starts writing..."Bunce treats us like idiots, we are hardcore fans, we know a good fight from a bad one, he knows nothing, ..." Blah, blah, blah. I'm starting to take a long and hard look at all websites and I can see why advertisers are not interested.

    Adios.

Or maybe people are losing interest because of bad matchmaking?

Well, then go and be heard by millions on live radio saying it!
I guarantee you air time. Bosh, what's the excuse no...no HD, the way Nelson sits in his chair?

I'm up in the dark gloomy North, but I'd have gladly paid the train fare and bunked with a mate (no homo) to attend if it wasn't on a weeknight, but I can't afford two days off work and the travel costs.

Everybody is Bertie Big Bollocks on t'internet, but for the most part when it comes to showing their faces, it all goes a bit quiet.

Maybe they aren't cockneys, I know if this was in Manchester I'd go down to it? Vano might be interested, but you can't expect anyone not from London to be making that trip on two days notice (Newsflash: the world, contrary to popular southern belief, does not revolve around London, and everyone in the Country doesn't live there). Sometimes you talk sense, but a lot of the time its just bollocks. Like this, you phrase it as though their are no hardcore fans and that people who come on here primarily aren't, but don't you think some might get put off from attending and posting by your ridiculous rants?

Granted it works both ways, and you catch a bit of flak now and again, but you really shouldn't be on here slating every man and his dog for having an opinion, you're supposed to be a professional man, act like it.

On your second point about advertisers, I assume this is to do with the **** ad's on Boxnation, and this might have a lot more to do with the average fights and the fact its a new channel with no track record. It factors lot more than the fans anyway, do you really think that because of the type or fans boxing has really affects adverts???? A major company will sell to whoever they can to make money, fans opinions on fights/fights has **** all to do with that. The fact it only reaches 10,000 people however, does.

It's not two days. I've been posting about this for over a week. I still lose money covering fights and press conferences going to amateur shows and gyms and I live 20 miles south of Stoke!
On here I act like the rest of the posters, you call me a fat twat and, having done my homework, I'm likely to call you a fat twat.

Only difference is on this occasion you went on the attack, you were the first response to the thread.

Sorry Buncey i cant make it. I can't take holiday on such short notice but if I'm being honest even if i could make it I have no mates that are as passionate Boxing fans as I am. So the idea of travelling from Reading, on my own, on my wage, and on a weeknight is not all that appealing, and I'm sure many with similar circumstance to me feel the same.

You sound disillusioned with ESB Buncey, I know you're getting a bit of stick ATM but I'm sure I speak for most on here when I say that your presence on ESB is greatly appreciated :good

It's not the stick but I just hate negativity. Also, the SKY praise is often ridiculous. Adam has done a stunning job over there and it is getting better and fairer each week but for a dozen years it was biased, comical and lacked an ounce of journalistic integrity. I have a decent memory and the recent praise made me feel slightly sick!

The negativity gets tiring, but I am 100% behind you over Sky. Let's not forget they were the ones who pushed for Haye-Harrison, and don't forget how they hyped it up then literally told viewers they were mugs for believing the hype.

I agree Buncey, I work in Customer Services and I can tell you that regardless of industry the customers you will have to interact with in your line of work will be overwhelmingly negative and narrow minded.

Sky have made some real improvements of late but the reality is that if BoxNation wasn't around they be getting anywhere near as much praise as they have been getting of late.

I think the FW connection hurts the perception and expectations of BoxNation, Frank has a lot of bad history of showing no care for Customer Relations and because of that people expect the worst from him. In this instance I don't think you can blame some of the fans for being sceptical, even if they are blowing certain fights and elements of BoxNation out of proportion.
