Would you then say that DLH was a monster H2H, or do you simply favor him over Floyd because of the clash of styles? :think

DLH wasn't a H2H monster; he is very good H2H, but I wouldn't call him a monster. He'd have serious trouble with guys who were bigger than him and faster (Hearns, SRL, SRR come to mind) and at 154 he'd be in bad shape against a guy like McCallum. Benitez would also give him fits, as would Duran. He did tend to shine against smaller opponents, however, and stylistically the prime DLH is a bad matchup for Mayweather with his extensive lateral movement, jab, and tall, long frame. DLH had sick handspeed and power back in his prime- he was easily able to put together fast, hard 3-5 punch combinations off the jab. Overall, I'd favor Mayweather over DLH from 130-140, as Mayweather was much more polished at those weights than Oscar was, but at 147 or 154 I think Oscar takes him, both because of styles and because by that point in time Oscar himself was a more polished, skilled, advanced fighter, and his size advantage would be more pronounced as well at those weights.

    Chavez top five ATG

Mayweather lost to DLH and Castillo

    Mayweather beats Pacquiao

Andre Ward top five p4p, will be the top 1 in a few years

Boxing should become unionized, guaranteed health care, and handled tourney style so champions can't duck each other.

Media hyping up us some garbage and creating fanboys which dilutes fanaticism for boxing as a whole and lower quality of boxing.

Out of the ring antics are not good for boxing in the long run.

Prime Holmes H2H beats any prime heavyweight
    JCC is overrated
Steward is overrated as a trainer-just fortunate to be from a talent rich area
Ray Leonard wasn't abused; he enjoyed having his trainer blow him
Lewis never truly avenged his loss to McCall
MMA is actually more legit than today's boxing scene

Jim Jeffries was the greatest heavyweight of the pre-WWI era

1988-1993 was the strongest period in Middleweight history

Carnera's win over Sharkey was on the level, and da Preem was a lot better fighter than he is given credit for

    Henry Armstrong's achievements are over-rated

Prime Collins beats Prime Benn and Eubank

Monzon was the greatest Middleweight ever

Frank Bruno had an above average chin

Norton won all 3 fights with Ali

Ali would have beaten Foreman regardless of where the fight was held

That's what I had in mind; plus, boxing seems like it has more goddamned belts than contenders.
