If the Berlin wall fell fifty years ago nobody would know who Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Holmes and Tyson were today.
^ 50 is definitely corny though. I remember when he tried to reunite NY and the way he had his arm around Juelz Santana. Dude was just straight corny and trying too hard.
if the nba, nfl, and televised college sports would not have experienced all time revenues in the last 10-15 years, the current heavyweight landscape would be dominated by american fighters. there would at least be a few dominican fighters in the ibhof and a couple current world champions if baseball had never been the overwhelmingly popular sport on the dominican republic.

Hours in a library and days on the computer. Talking to athletes who're friends of the family. Knowing the prevalence of PED's at every gym in America and even at my old high schools. Not just boxing, all athletes. My number of "70%" I usually say after stating: "excluding the one or two sports with the lowest PED use among competitors..." Also, I am insinuating competitors on or close to the "global" level.
I...have completely lost whatever I was about to say, after seeing this: This content is protected This content is protected
:blood that's not enough man, that's not enough to say 70 percent. first of all, can I see your numbers that quantify the prevalence of ped's at "every gym in america"? because that's the only thing that can be considered susbstantial enough to say 70 percent of athletes use peds, because your high schools are but a fraction of a percentage of the number of high schools across america. you would need a much greater number to be able to accurately infer something about the entire country.
It's an opinion, not a scientific study. I estimate that around 100 percent of athletes use peds at sometime in the year.
^^unfounded. read what he said. he didn't present it like it was a simple opinion. once you get into concrete percentages, you have to support that with research, which he did after I questioned it, and it's clearly not really enough. there are thousands upon thousands of professional athletes. you cant simply say 70 percent of them use PEDs by talking to friends of the family and looking at a few high schools. not to be a stickler but he presented a concrete number, 70 percent, which has to be supported. it would be different if he said, "I think alot of athletes use steroids."
